Polk State College’s Lakeland Campus Open House is tonight, Thursday, Oct. 29, from 5 to 7 p.m. at LTB-1100, 3425 Winter Lake Road in Lakeland. The college is hosting it as a same-evening chance for people to visit the campus and ask questions in person.
What attendees can do
Polk State says attendees can meet faculty and staff, complete an application, tour the campus, learn about student life, enter to win a scholarship, learn about dual enrollment and get started on FAFSA. That makes the open house useful for Lakeland students and families comparing college options, especially if they want admissions and financial-aid basics in one stop.
