What drivers should expect
The city says the closure is needed to safely accommodate ongoing construction activities and infrastructure improvements. Drivers should expect increased construction activity, including crews and equipment operating in and around the work zone.
Motorists should allow extra travel time and follow posted detour signage and traffic-control signs. Digital message boards will go up ahead of the closure to alert drivers.
