Cirque Dreams Holidaze brings a new holiday adventure to Lakeland

A Christmas Eve snowstorm, a young girl far from her family and a stage full of circus performers: that is the starting point for the new Cirque Dreams Holidaze coming to Lakeland. RP Funding Center hosts the holiday production for one performance on Thursday, November 19, at 7 p.m.

For local families, it is a chance to start the season with a shared night at the theater. The show combines live singing and a Broadway-style production with aerial acts, juggling and acrobatics. Readers can save 20% with the promotional code HOLLY.

Clara steps into HOLIDAZE

Reimagined for 2026, the story follows Clara as a snowstorm threatens her Christmas Eve plans. Just when it seems her family may not make it home, two singers draw her into a fantastical world of holiday characters and circus acts.

Clara becomes part of the adventure, finding friendship and discovering her courage along the way. The production builds toward a reunion and an aerial finale, giving its holiday spectacle an emotional thread about the people we hope to have beside us.

A stage made for surprises

Cirque Dreams brings several performance traditions together: singers and dancers carry the holiday mood, while jugglers, skippers, aerial artists and acrobats supply the physical feats. Toy soldiers and reindeer become part of the theatrical world around them.

The 2026 production adds new music, holiday favorites sung live, new scenery and costumes. The appeal is in that changing scale: a familiar song one moment, a balancing act or a performer in the air the next.

A Lakeland date for the family calendar

The performance takes place at RP Funding Center, 701 W. Lime St. It falls on a Thursday evening, so plan dinner and arrival around the 7 p.m. start. If you are bringing relatives or organizing a larger outing, settle on the date and seating together before purchasing.
